Two new La Parisienne locations: Courtelary and Corgémont

September 2026 marked a major milestone for La Parisienne.
Within just a few days, our bakery grew with the opening of two new shops in the Saint-Imier valley: Courtelary and Corgémont.
It was an intense period, with a great deal of work and many changes, but above all many wonderful encounters and people who chose to place their trust in us.
1 September: La Parisienne opens in Courtelary
On 1 September 2026, we opened our new bakery in Courtelary, at 2 Fleur de Lys.
We are fortunate to be taking over a place steeped in history, as this address has housed a bakery since 1870.
For many years, it was particularly well known under the name Chez Jean-Pierre.
When we arrived, we wanted to preserve part of that history. Several old photographs are still displayed in the bakery, some dating back to the beginning of the 20th century.
Even though the name has changed, it was important to us not to erase everything that existed before us.
This takeover would not have been possible without the help and trust of Jean-François Leuenberger and his aunt, Mrs Elisabeth Schenk.
They supported us enormously throughout this new adventure, and we are deeply grateful to them.

15 September: our production moves to Courtelary
Two weeks after the shop opened, another major step took place.
On 15 September 2026, we moved all of our production from Sonvilier to Courtelary.
Our breads, viennoiseries, pastries, savoury items and other products are now made in our Courtelary workshop before being delivered to our different shops.
This change gives us more space and an organisation better suited to the continued development of La Parisienne.
Our Sonvilier shop of course remains open.
Sonvilier will always be the village where our adventure began.
We tell the story of this takeover and everything that happened before the opening in Courtelary in more detail in the article dedicated to this shop.
16 September: opening in Corgémont
And barely had our move been completed when another opening was already waiting for us.
On 16 September 2026, La Parisienne opened its new shop at 21 Grand-Rue in Corgémont.
This opening is particularly close to our hearts because, for a while, we simply thought we would not be able to make the project happen.
We wanted to take over this bakery, but we did not have the necessary financial means.
Things finally changed thanks to a conversation with Marjorie and Mike Todeschini of Todeschini Construction S.A..
After several discussions and meetings, they decided to trust us and help us make this takeover possible.
Without their help, La Parisienne in Corgémont would probably not have been able to open its doors today.
We are enormously grateful to them.
This story also deserves to be told in greater detail and is already the subject of a dedicated article about Corgémont.
Three major milestones in just sixteen days
In only a few days:
1 September 2026: opening of Courtelary
15 September 2026: transfer of our production to Courtelary
16 September 2026: opening of Corgémont
When we began the La Parisienne adventure, we were still far from imagining everything that would follow.
These new openings obviously represent a huge amount of work, but above all they represent the trust that certain people chose to place in us.
Whether in Courtelary or Corgémont, these projects would not have been possible in the same way without the people who chose to support us.
We therefore want to sincerely thank Jean-François Leuenberger, Elisabeth Schenk, Mike and Marjorie Todeschini, as well as our team and everyone who supports us every day.
And of course, thank you to our customers from Sonvilier, Courtelary, Corgémont and the surrounding villages who continue to keep local businesses alive.
A new chapter is opening for La Parisienne.
And we are very happy to now be able to write this story in Courtelary and Corgémont as well.
